Lupica: Sanchez has five games left to prove himself Dec 2nd 2012, 04:24 It was not even two full years ago since Mark Sanchez went into Foxborough, in the playoffs, and got blitzed about half the time he dropped back to pass, and threw three touchdown passes, and made more big plays than Tom Brady in that game. When the Patriots started to come back, Sanchez hit Jerricho Cotchery for a play that went nearly 60 yards and then threw it to Santonio Holmes in a corner of the end zone and the Jets were on their way back to the AFC Championship Game.
