UPDATED: The deal provides financing for Columbus's 1492 Pictures to immediately green light three movies, including one based on a book by Anne Rice about Jesus as a 7-year-old, and his first novel, which he will direct, in the spirit of his 1985 hit The Goonies. agreement will cover the development and financing of such films as an adaptation of Anne Rice’s “Christ the Lord.”read more
